祇園祭(ぎおんまつり)の山鉾巡行(やまほこじゅんこう)では、鉾衆(ほこしゅう)が伝統(でんとう)を受(う)け継(つ)ぎながら鉾(ほこ)を引(ひ)く。

祭(まつ)りに先立(さきだ)ち、鉾建(ほこた)てが始(はじ)まった。
