What it means
だけあって expresses that a result is just what one would expect from a person's ability, a thing's quality, or a preceding fact. It often conveys recognition or admiration: because the stated basis is strong, the result naturally matches expectations. It follows nouns, the plain form of verbs, and plain adjectives; na-adjectives take な before it. The result is usually favorable, though the construction can also describe an expected negative result when the context supports it.
Usage note
だけあって is not a neutral equivalent of every causal expression such as から or ので. It normally highlights that the result is appropriate or unsurprising in light of the preceding basis, and it is often used with an appreciative or evaluative nuance.
