What it means
さえ〇〇ば expresses a minimum condition: if that one thing is available or that one action is performed, the result is possible. It often has the nuance of “if only...” or “as long as...,” emphasizing that nothing more is required. With a noun, use noun + さえあれば. With a verb, use the masu-stem + さえすれば. The condition can be followed by either a familiar or polite main clause.
Usage note
Do not treat さえすれば as a polite form. The conditional expression stays the same in both registers; only the rest of the sentence changes to match the desired level of politeness.
