What it means
ことから means “from the fact that” or “because.” It presents a fact as the basis for a conclusion, judgment, classification, or result. It is often used when the stated fact is evidence that supports the following statement, rather than simply giving a personal reason. This pattern is common in explanations, reports, and other relatively formal writing.
Usage note
ことから is more formal and explanatory than the ordinary causal pattern から. It normally follows a plain-form clause; with nouns and na-adjectives, use であることから or なことから according to the intended structure.
