What it means
ていく expresses continuing an action or change from now into the future. It is formed by attaching いく to a verb's て-form. In this use, it often means “continue to do” or shows that something will gradually develop as time goes on.
Usage note
ていく is commonly contrasted with てくる. ていく describes continuation or change moving forward from the present, while てくる generally describes something that has continued or changed up to the present.
