What it means
でございます is a very polite form of the copula meaning “is” or “are.” It is used after nouns and na-adjective stems to make formal statements. It is more formal and ceremonious than です, and is common in announcements, customer service, formal presentations, and other respectful settings.
Usage note
でございます is not the normal choice for everyday polite conversation; です is usually more natural. Its familiar counterpart is だ, but だ should not be used in formal or respectful situations.
