What it means
はずがない expresses a strong belief that something is impossible or cannot be true. The speaker reaches this conclusion from knowledge, evidence, or the situation, so it is stronger than simply saying that something is unlikely. It follows a noun with の, a na-adjective with な, and a plain-form verb or i-adjective directly. The polite counterpart is はずがありません.
Usage note
Do not confuse はずがない with はずではない. はずがない means that something cannot be true or cannot happen, while はずではない means that something is not expected or not supposed to be true. はずがない is often used when confidently rejecting a possibility.
