What it means
どれ asks which one or which item when the choices are understood from the situation. It is used by itself as a question word, often to identify one item from a group. It can also appear after a topic to ask which item matches that topic.
Usage note
どれ is used alone, while どの must come directly before a noun, as in どのかばん. Use どちら instead when choosing between two options or when a more polite expression is appropriate.
