What it means
AだのBだの lists representative items, actions, or qualities with the sense of “things like A and B, and so on.” It often presents a scattered or exhaustive-sounding series rather than a neutral list, and it can imply criticism, exaggeration, or the speaker’s impatience depending on context. Nouns, na-adjectives, i-adjectives, and plain-form verbs can occur before だの. The construction is especially common before と, を, or して in longer sentences.
Usage note
だの is usually more emphatic and less neutral than とか, and it is frequently used when listing complaints or examples that the speaker does not want to enumerate fully. It does not have a separate polite replacement; politeness is expressed elsewhere in the sentence.
