What it means
ながらの attaches to the masu-stem of a verb and modifies a following noun. It describes an activity, condition, or circumstance that continues while the noun-related action or situation takes place, often conveying “while” or “during.” This pattern is relatively formal and is especially useful when presenting simultaneous activity as a compact noun phrase.
Usage note
Do not confuse ながらの with the clause-ending pattern Vます-stemながら, which is followed directly by another predicate rather than by a noun. ながらの itself is not a plain or polite ending; politeness is shown by the predicate at the end of the sentence.
