What it means
んがため expresses a strong, deliberate purpose: “in order to” or “for the purpose of.” It attaches to the verb’s irrealis, or negative-stem, form and often presents the goal as a serious objective that motivates an action. The construction is especially common in formal writing, speeches, official statements, and literary-style descriptions.
Usage note
んがため is highly formal and is uncommon in ordinary conversation. The adverbial form is often followed by に, while の can connect it to a following noun. Do not treat it as a polite form; politeness is expressed by the ending of the surrounding sentence.
