What it means
ゆえに means “therefore,” “consequently,” or “because of.” It presents the preceding fact as the direct reason for the following result, often with a formal, literary, or academic tone. It can follow a noun with の, or a plain clause with が. The construction emphasizes a logical or inevitable consequence rather than a casual explanation.
Usage note
ゆえに is strongly formal and is uncommon in ordinary conversation. In everyday speech, ので or から is usually more natural. Its presence does not itself make the entire sentence polite; politeness must be expressed separately with forms such as です or ます.
