What it means
からして follows a noun or noun phrase and identifies it as the basis for an inference. It means “judging from” or “based on,” often suggesting that the cited clue is especially revealing or is enough to support the speaker’s conclusion. The conclusion may be stated immediately after the phrase or in the same sentence.
Usage note
からして can also emphasize that even the cited item already shows a certain quality, as in “even from the name.” Do not confuse it with からすると or からすれば, which more generally mean “judging from” or “considering”; からして often highlights a particularly noticeable clue.
