What it means
まで marks an endpoint or limit. With a place, it means “to” or “as far as,” and with a time or event, it means “until.” It commonly follows a noun such as a destination, time, or deadline. It can also follow a plain-form verb to show that an action continues until that event happens.
Usage note
Do not confuse まで with までに. まで means that something continues up to an endpoint, while までに means “by” a deadline.
